Zeta Chapter tries its hardest to maintain an accurate database of where our alumni are. There are couple reasons we do this. First, because we publish the "Alumni Newsletter" at least once a year. If we don't have your address, we can't mail it to you. Second, because we have an alumni email list. It doesn't get used too often, but when something big is happening - like winter carnival events - or we are seeking our alumni's sage advice, we let you know. To get added to either or both of these databases, contact the chair of Alumni Relations.
Ordering Psi Stuff
Zeta Chapter orders all of its clothing through Favorite Silk Screening &
Embroidery. If you are interested in getting anything at all you can
contact them directly or talk to our Current Secretary. He or she handles
all of the orders for the brothers currently in Houghton, with the help of
the newly created Properties committee.
Almost anything can have letters on it. Some popular choices are:
- Red & Whites
- Hats
- Sweatshirts
- Boxers
- Pullover Fleeces
- Mugs
- T-Shirts, Short and Long Sleeve
- Bumper Stickers
- Window Clings
- Beverage Openers
Yearly Events
Zeta Chapter participates in almost all of the Events put on by MTU.
These events include Winter Carnival, Hobo parade, and Spring Fling.
We occasionally make an official appearance at K-Day, although usually we
wear very bright letters and wander around. If you are in town for any of
these events and want to know what we will be doing or where we will be
doing it send out an email - we'll let you know. In addition to the big
university sponsored events, Zeta Chapter has many of its own little
things going on. . .
- Arguably our biggest "little" event, the annual Gary Tunstall concert is put on during the Friday or Saturday night of Winter Carnival. Admission to the concert is a mere $5 and all of the proceeds go towards the annual pep band scholarship.
- The alumni banquet is another happening during winter carnival. The exact date and restaurant has yet to be decided. If you are interested in attending or know of a great place, get a hold of the Alumni Relations Chair.
- Every semester Zeta Chapter hopes to have a pledge class. A pledge class always means more little events to keep us busy. If you are interested in being involved with any of these events, contact our Pledgemaster.
