The History of Zeta Chapter

Our chapter was founded to:

  1. Honor everybody at Michigan Tech who devote their time and efforts to our musical organizations such as:
  2. Spread the interest music at Tech
  3. Advancing music to its proper place as an educational subject

In order to accomplish these tasks we:

  1. Give a scholarship to one or two musicians at Michigan Tech.
  2. Help musical and theatrical performances with:
    • Ushering
    • Publicity
  3. Place posters advertising for upcoming events
  4. Hold an annual spaghetti dinner

Of course, you can not accomplish any of these without a decent amount of members, so we do hold some rushes.

Anyone is invited to join us regardless of major, but the one requirement we do have is a passion for music. If you are interested, we recommend you attend one or more of our rushes to get to know us better.
